Where technology meets nature. The Eco Club of IIIT Raichur works to green the campus and build a culture of sustainability — one drive, workshop and small habit at a time.

What we do

Small actions, campus-wide impact

The Eco Club drives environmental awareness and hands-on sustainability at IIIT Raichur. From plantation drives to waste segregation, we turn everyday campus life into a greener, more mindful place to study and live.

Plantation drives

Growing and caring for green cover across the campus with seasonal tree-planting drives.

Waste & recycling

Promoting waste segregation, composting and responsible disposal habits in hostels and academic blocks.

Awareness campaigns

Talks, exhibits and observances that make sustainability part of everyday student conversation.

Clean & green drives

Clean-up and water-conservation activities that keep shared campus spaces healthy.

Building greener habits, together

Increase and maintain green cover on campus through regular plantation and upkeep.
Embed waste segregation and recycling into everyday hostel and academic-block routines.
Raise environmental awareness through workshops, campaigns and observances.
Encourage sustainable choices — energy, water and plastic — among students.
