About

National Service Scheme (NSS) is a social service program sponsored by the Government of India. IIIT Raichur has proudly hosted its NSS unit since the founding year of the institute in 2019. NSS believes in Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy that “the difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would solve most of our problems.”

What We Do

NSS at IIIT Raichur provides students with real-world experiences to understand India's social challenges. Guided by the motto “Not Me, But You,” volunteers carry out activities such as Vidyadaan, cloth donation drives, blood donation camps, and visits to orphanages. The aim is to cultivate empathy, leadership, and meaningful service.
